Established in 2020 by Dylan Jones during the height of the pandemic, our mission is clear: to create an unsurpassable standard for personal training and empower 1,000 people to take control of their health, fitness, and life outside of the gym.

DYLAN JONES
Founder & Coach
Dylan has been heavily involved in the health and fitness industry since 2009 with a passion for helping his clients move, feel and perform their best. Originally from Western Australia, Dylan’s career moved him to Melbourne in 2011 and has taken him to Florida in 2017 to work with major league baseball players and to learn from the best in the industry with a focus on rehabilitation and performance.
After years of working in the private sector, Dylan saw a gap in the industry specifically in client care, results and community so in 2020 ‘State of Fitness’ was launched to help clients locally, and abroad.

SCOTT SIMPSON
Operational Manager, Coach & Superstar
Scott started his path towards strength and rehabilitation as a young athlete, seeing first-hand the benefits of proper technique and programming in the gym. Graduating from William Penn University in Iowa, Scott studied Exercise Science while playing college baseball.
A coaching internship at Cressey Sports Performance in Massachusetts was Scott’s first position as he learned from the best in shoulder injury prevention and individualised strength training. These experiences now lead Scott to passionately empower people through strength training to be and feel healthy and strong.

Coach & Mr Energy!
Originally from Sicily, Alessandro has made Melbourne home over the past 7 years and brings a world of experience and energy into the gym. As a qualified exercise scientist, Alessandro has perfected his craft over the past 11 years of working in the health and fitness industry.
He prides himself on providing a unique and individual approach when training his clients, ensuring they master the basics to build a strong foundation and then progress to surpass their goals and expectations!

RUBY FRASER
Coach & Mind-Body Movement Specialist
With over 8 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Ruby brings a deep passion for movement, mindset, and resilience to every session. She has worked across a broad spectrum of the industry—from running her own business to collaborating with leading gyms and coaches—helping clients of all ages and backgrounds build strong, pain-free bodies and confident, self-reliant minds.
Ruby empowers clients to manage health, understand their bodies, and move freely with confidence, energy, and lifelong well-being.

Coach & All-Round Superstar
Alwyn is head of our Athletic Development with an extensive track record of coaching his athletes, and himself to success. Originally from Adelaide, Alwyn is a 10X Australian National Champion and Commonwealth Games medallist in triple jump. His unique insight into improving athletic performance is one of a kind.
Alwyn loves a laugh while being professional and educational with his coaching.

Connect with an expert trainer to discuss your fitness goals and how we can support you inside and outside the gym. If we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule your 1-on-1 consultation with us in the gym.

45-Minute In-Person Consultation & Assessment
We’ll meet to discuss and understand what you need from us to achieve your goals while holding you accountable. You’ll undergo an assessment to evaluate your starting point and how you move as an individual. If you’re happy to continue with us, we’ll confirm your training schedule and preferred payment method.

Between your consultation and your first booked session, we’ll craft your personalised programme, provide support, and get you onboarded.
